There's good news, bad news and then more good news to come. First, the warm weather Illinois is enjoying is nice, but be warned. Forecasters say the current warm weather is temporary and the arctic blast is reloading and will be back soon.

I've seen this mentioned in multiple places that I trust. It's word that the current warmer than normal temperatures that Illinois has been enjoying is only temporary and a super cold blast is headed toward the Land of Lincoln.

I saw this first mentioned by Meteorologist Travis Roberts on YouTube. He keeps a close eye on the ice pack in the Arctic and its affect on us and noticed a pattern showing a big burst of cold air is about to be unleashed again.

This prediction has just been backed up by the National Weather Service in Illinois that says "temperatures are about to take a tumble".

But, what about the other "good news"?

The good news is that there is another round of warmer weather that should arrive by next weekend. Expect 3 or 4 days of bitter cold and then some warm relief not that long after.

It's been a rollercoaster of warm weather then cold weather then warm weather again and it doesn't appear this ride will end anytime soon.
